The Lugana Consortium and Capitale Cultura Group in Lugano
Wine, art, and culture. These were the key elements of Thursday, November 24th, when Capitale Cultura Group joined forces with the Lugana DOC Protection Consortium to organize a cultural aperitif at MUSEC, the Museum of Cultures in Lugano.
Overlooking Lake Ceresio and nestled between the Swiss mountains, MUSEC hosted an event dedicated to presenting various styles of Lugana DOC, a wine that is still relatively unknown in Ticino but has gained increasing prestige and importance over the years, thanks to the promotional efforts of the Consortium.
Speakers at the event included Paolo Campione, Director of the Museum of Cultures; Luca Formentini, Past President of the Consortium; and Antonio Scuderi, CEO of Capitale Cultura Group. Several guests were in attendance, including journalists from the Ticino press, who had the opportunity to hear the stories from the Consortium and engage in discussions about the potential market developments and brand relevance that Lugana wine can still experience.
The cultural aperitif of November 24th is part of a broader project to promote Lugana, aiming to transform this event into a consolidated format that can adapt to cultural venues and facilitate a dialogue between the world of wine and the cultural sector.
