We are proud to announce that, in partnership with Accent On Design (AOD) and Weplan, we have been awarded the tender for the design and management of the image, communication and promotion strategy for the brand “Viterbo European Capital of Culture 2033”.
Achieving the title of European Capital of Culture, together with the implementation of the planned programme, represents a strategic opportunity for Viterbo to strengthen its international visibility, attract new tourist flows and provide fresh momentum to the local cultural scene. In this context, cultural and territorial communication and promotion play a central and indispensable role – not a secondary one – as they are essential for engaging stakeholders, citizens and cultural institutions. Given the complexity of the project, its long-term development and the presence of multiple milestones, the communication strategy is structured around progressive phases and objectives, while maintaining a unified and coherent vision throughout the entire multi-year process.
Our team is working to support the city in building a strong, credible and competitive bid, grounded in a long-term cultural vision. The project approach is based on bottom-up co-creation and the active involvement of citizens and local cultural stakeholders, with the aim of shaping an authentic, inclusive and shared pathway for Viterbo’s cultural future.
The programme includes a 12-month Feasibility Study and a multi-year Communication Strategy that accompanies the three phases of the candidacy: awareness-raising, dissemination and engagement (3 years), the nomination phase (4 months), and project delivery (16 months).
A strategic journey that looks to 2033 not only as a goal, but above all as a process of cultural transformation – one capable of strengthening identity, relationships and development prospects. A commitment that we at Capitale Cultura Group pursue with the aim of making a concrete contribution to the creation of a solid, shared and recognisable project at the European level.
